Dr. Urchna Morar

Dr. Urchna Morar is a dedicated Optometrist who really cares about the happiness and well-being of her patients, and has been known to go above and beyond for them.  She received her B.A. in Biology from University of California Irvine, and her Doctorate of Optometry and second Bachelors degree in Vision Science from NOVA Southeastern University.

 

Dr. Morar was born in the United Kingdom, raised in California, and has now permanently settled in San Antonio and is enjoying serving the people of her community.  She has gained valuable experience from working at multiple private practices in San Antonio, her externships in Florida, and volunteer work in India.

 

She is a Board Certified Therapeutic & Glaucoma Optometrist, and a member of the Bexar County District Optometric Society, where she regularly attends meetings to ensure she's providing the most up to date information to her patients and knowledgeable about the most recent  advancements in the Optometric field.  She also treats and manages a variety of medical eye conditions including red eye, dry eye, diabetes, glaucoma, retinal conditions, and emergency eye injuries.

 

Dr Morar opened Lifetime Family Eye Care since it's always been her dream to build lasting relationships with her patients, be there for their eyecare needs at every point in their life, and educate & advocate for their health.

 

In her spare time, Dr Morar enjoys being outdoors, travelling, and playing the keyboard & singing in a band with other local ODs, called The Spectacles!   She lives in Northwest San Antonio with her husband, daughter, and two cavapoo dogs named Saiya & Sukhi.

Dr. Kami Choy

Dr. Kami Choy is a passionate Optometrist who enjoys caring for her patients and hopes to create lasting connections with them. Dr. Choy is a native San Antonian and graduated from Tom C. Clark High School. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at the University of Texas at Austin. She then went on to the University of Houston College of Optometry to earn her Doctor of Optometry degree.


During optometry school, she was an active member of the Beta Sigma Kappa International Honor Society and enjoyed volunteering for local community clinics and health drives. She completed her clinical training at the Santa Fe Indian Hospital in Santa Fe, New Mexico and at Lackland Air Force Base here in San Antonio, Texas.


Dr. Choy is a board-certified Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. She is trained to diagnose and manage many eye conditions such as dry eye, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, and macular degeneration. She is an active member of the Texas Optometric Association and the Bexar County District Optometric Society. She is committed to providing quality eye care and stays up to date on recent vision-related technology and research.


It is a dream come true for Dr. Choy to be practicing in her hometown. She loves serving her community and is overjoyed to join the Lifetime Family Eye Care team. She strives to listen to her patients’ individual visual needs and educate them on their eyes and overall health.
When not seeing patients, Dr. Choy enjoys spending time with her family and being outdoors. She is a lover of coffee, puzzles, birdwatching, and the San Antonio Spurs.
