Proper Fit

Position your glasses correctly: Make sure the nose pads rest comfortably on your nose and the temples rest securely behind your ears.

Distance

Keep your head level and look straight ahead. Avoid tilting your head forward or backward.

Intermediate &

Computer Vision

Your monitor should sit just slightly below eye level and about 20–30 inches away. Keep your head upright and look down at the screen through the middle portion of the lens.

Near & Reading

Hold reading materials or objects about 10–20 inches away. Keep your head upright and look down through the lower portion of the lens.

Peripheral

Turn your head to face the object rather than just shifting your eyes.

Stairs

For stairs: These can be tricky. When navigating stairs, tilt your chin slightly downward and look through the upper or middle portion of the lens.

Fulltime Wear

Full-time wear is critical to adjusting to your progressive lenses. It may take up to four weeks of consistent wear to completely adapt. Your eyes need time to develop the habit of using the different zones, but once you’ve adapted, it’s like riding a bike—you’ll never forget it!
